This website (rootedwithin.my) is operated by Current Meds Global (Registration No. 202303017531 (KT0538539-D)), of 33, Jalan BU7/1, Bandar Utama, 47800 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.
What we collect: When you place an order — name, phone, address, email, payment records (we do not store card details). When you contact us via WhatsApp — your number and message content. When you complete our assessment — health information you voluntarily provide (sensitive personal data under the PDPA; collected only with your explicit consent; never required to purchase). When you browse — IP address, device and page data via Google Analytics.
Why we use it: To fulfil and deliver your order; respond to enquiries; assess product suitability (with explicit consent); meet legal retention obligations (2 years minimum under the Consumer Protection (Electronic Trade Transactions) Regulations 2012); and — only with your separate consent — send marketing messages. We do not sell your personal data.
Who we share it with: ToyyibPay (payment processing); delivery partners (name, address, phone); WhatsApp/Meta (if you message us); Netlify (hosting); Google Analytics. Some providers operate outside Malaysia — we share data only where comparable protection or appropriate safeguards apply per the Commissioner's Cross-Border guidelines.
Retention: Order records — 2 years (legal minimum), up to 7 years for tax. Assessment responses — 12 months. WhatsApp conversations — 24 months after last purchase. Marketing consent — until withdrawn.
Your rights under the PDPA: Access, correct, limit or withdraw consent for your personal data. Contact us — we respond within 21 days. You may also contact the Jabatan Perlindungan Data Peribadi, Malaysia.

Refund & Returns Policy

Damaged, incorrect or incomplete orders: Contact us on WhatsApp (+60 16-612 5535) or by email within 7 days of delivery, with your order number and a photo. We will arrange a replacement or full refund including delivery costs — no return postage required.
Change of mind — unopened (seal intact): Contact us within 7 days of delivery. We refund the product price once we receive it back in resalable condition. Return postage is at your cost.
Change of mind — opened: We cannot accept returns of opened food products for food safety and hygiene reasons.
Medically unsuitable: If a doctor or pharmacist advises you not to use the product after purchase, contact us. We will review case by case and normally refund an unopened item outside the standard window.
Cancellation before dispatch: Contact us immediately — if the order has not shipped, we cancel and refund in full.
Refund method: Returned to the original payment method within 7-14 business days of approval. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 are not affected.

What we sell: Food supplements under the Food Act 1983 and Food Regulations 1985. Our products are not medicines and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Nothing on this website is medical advice. Consult your doctor before use if you have a medical condition, take prescription medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are under 18.
Orders: A contract forms only when we confirm your order and payment is received. We may decline an order if the product is unavailable, there is a pricing error, or we believe it is unsafe for you — in which case we refund in full.
Payment: Processed through ToyyibPay. We do not store card details.
Delivery: We aim to ship within 1 business day. Estimated delivery within Malaysia: 3-5 business days. Risk passes to you on delivery.
Liability: Nothing excludes liability under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 or for personal injury caused by our negligence. Otherwise, our total liability is capped at the amount you paid for the relevant order.
Governing law: Laws of Malaysia. Disputes may be referred to the Tribunal Tuntutan Pengguna Malaysia.
